Diane McMahon has twenty years of progressive, diversified experience launching and leading new strategies in government relations & public affairs. She helps clients navigate international and domestic (central, state, and local government) landscapes and manage issues. Expertise: includes creative campaigns, building coalitions, ally development & messaging, global policy & issues, project community relations, crisis communications & media relations, and commercial diplomacy initiatives.

While at Bechtel Corporation, Diane supported five regions (LatAm, ASEAN, ME, Africa, Europe) and four business units (oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, and government services) with external relations, business development, client relations, reputation management and sustainability tactics. She worked closely with U.S. government as a member of Bechtel’s sustainable development advisory council, the IDB’s Americas Business Dialogue (IDB ABD LatAm), and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA).

Diane’s Asia - specific experience includes launching two successful India practices while at Albright Stonebridge Group consultancy and Mayer Brown law firm. For two decades, she assisted American companies with strategic advice on market access and trade & regulatory matters. Prior to consulting, Diane was Director of the U.S.-India Business Council at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Director of the Corporate Program at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Diane began her career as a staffer to Rep. Hamilton Fish (R-NY). She also was a media relations team member at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and a key facilitator at the U.S. Department of Defense in devising strategic partnerships between the U.S. Departments of State, Defense and NATO countries.
